Our Cause

Overwatering our landscapes is the largest contributor to wasted water.

The typical ½-acre commercial property uses about one million gallons of landscape water per year. On average, properties exceed the landscape watering need by about 38% - or 380,000 gallons. Many properties overwater by as much as 60% - pouring hundreds of thousands of gallons of clean water into our streets and sewers.

Save Water

The wasted water from one property could provide clean water for 200 families.

We realized that the wasted clean water from one commercial property is equivalent to the amount of unsafe water consumed by 200 families in a developing country.
And that a single well in a developing country can provide enough clean water for 200 families for generations.
Our Cause

Give Life

Meanwhile, a child dies every 20 seconds from lack of access to clean water.

Every day water-related diseases claim the lives of 5000 children under the age of five. At any given time, half of the world’s hospital beds are occupied by patients suffering from a water-related disease. Water-related disease is the second biggest killer of children worldwide - and it's completely preventable by providing access to clean, safe drinking water.
